Called at 1615 asking about getting a tire fixed or replaced- they close at 1700 but said to bring it in- showed up at 1645ish and by 1705 I was done and pulling out of their yard-

Ben was super helpful when I sprung a flat on the highway. Though he didn't have the tire he moved my flat to the back since my car is front-wheel drive and check the tire pressure all around.

This place is a must stop for any issues.

I've never had an experience as far as doing business with these folks. This is unusual, but it needs addressing.
A few months ago, I was at a local drive in. Since I was out on calls for the day, I was driving a Honda CRV rather than my service van.

While waiting for my food, a young man in one of your service trucks started calling out for the owner of the Honda. I let him know that was me, at which point he starts in on the front tires. Which were pretty thin on tread. He pointed that out, and when I told him I already bought a set of tires at Discount and was waiting for an appointment, he starts going on and on about how dangerous the tires were and that he could take care of them for me. I told him that I've been in the business for over 50 years, and didn't need his advice. Or his tires as they were already purchased.

None of this stopped him. He kept going on and on. I explained it again that I owned the new tires and was waiting for an appointment. Like talking to a wall. I get his enthusiasm, but one thing I never do to a customer is tell them over and over how bad something is. I will illustrate the problem, but other than that, once I've informed my customer and they decline, I'm done.

Thankfully, my food was ready and I took off.

I get trying to make a sale. I do it every day. I used to sell million dollar plus boats. Pushy doesn't work. Not here and certainly not there. I held my tongue during the exchange. I really felt like lashing out at him, as this was the first break I had on this day and I started at 3am.

I hope you can get some sales training for your staff. If you can't, you will lose customers like mad. I can't stand the Les Schwab hustle and this was worse.

Absolutely awesome service! I had several various complex tire issues for a farm tractor and a semi truck, and John - one of the service techs- took time to explain my options, his recommendations and how to get a good price. Because of John’s incredible customer service skills, they have a customer for life. I feel I’m in good hands and almost taken care of by a family member. I’d give 10 Stars if I could!

We had a 100% flat steering tire on our 39ft class A motorhome on Sunday. Although we had to wait until Monday morning, GCR answered our call for help at 740am! The mobile tech arrived MUCH SOONER than expected and did a very thorough assessment, inflation and another evaluation before leaving. Turns out the flat was due to a failed valve stem. We are on the road as Happy Campers again!! Thanks to Devin our technician and GCR! We'll definitely use them again.
