Initially, Federica very efficiently organised our Italian tax code and other administrative requirements. Ilaria then looked after the legalities of the purchase and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. We literally just had to sit at home while she organised all the necessary paperwork, notary, geometra etc - everything was completed by email with the exception of a couple of legal documents (e.g. power of attorney) which were forwarded by courier as original signatures were required. De Tullio also offer the option to have their representative complete the sale at the notary's office so you don't have to travel to Italy which was ideal for us - again costs for this service were outlined upfront. Finally, all translation services from Italian to English were provided which was very comforting. De Tullio made the purchasing process so straightforward and allayed all our worries with regard to purchasing internationally. As we were not familiar with Italian insurance, Ilaria even provided an insurance contact to organise home insurance once we had purchased the property. My advice - if you have any query or concern regarding purchase of an Italian holiday property, ask De Tullio. I would definitely recommend using a good legal firm for any international property purchases and De Tullio would be my definite recommendation in Italy.
