Rooms are clean but Some of the staff are not very hospitable.
My first week here was no issues other than a front desk woman by the Name of Liz being a little rude.
But my issues Started when I was told I was going to have to pay a 100 dollar cleaning fee for Switching to a new room at the end of my stay.
So I booked a room for a week stayed that whole week in that room. If I would have left and went to a new hotel there would have been no fee. If I would have left and came back the same day and rebooked there would have been no fee. But simply because I booked a new room while still under the new one I was charged 100 for a "Cleaning fee"
It didn't make sense. I had already paid all my fees for the old room and the new room.
I kept asking the lady to make it make sense but all she could do was get angry at me for not understanding.
At that point I'm starting to cry and feel over stimulated, so I close mt eyes to process my thoughts which is common coping mechanism for me when eye contact starts becoming uncomfortable and a distraction
She starts accusing me of not trying to understand because my eyes were closed, then starting threating that she didn't have to let me stay there and yelling at me.
I went up to my room to collect my thoughts and go down and try again but when I did I was met with the same raised voice and hostility simply because I wanted to specifically understand where my money was going and why it was going there.
I don't know when a guest is crying and obviously upset maybe don't threatin their current living situation and tell they are strange. I've paid to be here how about just a little courtesy and compassion.
So after writing this review it seems corporate reached out to the manager of the property to ask about the 100 fee.
I guess the manager told the company I was charged a fee for all the "hair and urine built up in my hotel room.
Now I am twice as angry.
My dog is a good boy and potty trained and has been fo 15 years. We keep him crated 90 percent of the time we aren't in the room and I'm sure if we were to look at cameras the dog is taken to potty outside several times a day.
So that's lie number 1
Lie number 2
The hair...
I was so nervous about staying in a hotel under my name for the first time. I went and bought a swifter dry and wet mop so I could keep the floors clean and lysol wipes to keep sinks clean.
So the claim there was a lot of hair doesn't hold up. Because I meticulously swept behind us.
Now for Lie number 3 which is the most Damning.
The manager told corporate that I was charged a fee because they found "hair and urine in my room."
The wierd part about that "claim" is I was told I was getting charged the cleaning fee before I even switched rooms.
Read that part again corporate.
Before I was even out of room 1 and into room 2
Before a staff member could go behind me and even look at the state of room 1
I was charged a fee.
I don know how long things are keeps on video or camera here but if there is still recordings feom last week I could definitely prove no staff had been in my room before I got hit with a fee.
So now not only is my dog being lied on but the Managment here feels pretty comfortable lying to their Corporate on how the timeline of events transpired
I guess I will have to file with the BBB since corporate doesn't feel like taking my claims seriously.
