If I had known this wasn't a real post office I would not have gone there. Everything says "United States Postal Service" but they are not USPS. And they charge over 2x the amount of regular USPS. Beware before you go. I just hope my package arrives as it says.

Their website says they open at 9, so I arrived at 9:15. The store was dark and completely empty. I waited for a while, but no one showed up. It would be nice to have the correct hours listed on their website.

I like that this place is open until 6 p.m. on weekdays.
You don't get the nice all inclusive receipt like you get from a real US Post Office, but these guys do a great job.
Be careful as far as postmark goes and delivery times go. I sent an item with package tracking. I dropped it off before closing time on Monday (Around 5:55 p.m. on May 14, 2018), but the first entry in the tracking details is for Wednesday (Around 12:30 p.m. on May 16, 2018). I ship for eBay, so it's really important that my items show as being shipped on a certain date.

This is NOT a post office, no matter what they call themselves. This location is a postal contractor. I sent a priority envelope from this location on 2/16, they gave me a sticker with a tracking number, but no receipt. For 11 days when I looked up the tracking number it only said "label created". Finally on 2/27 it was scanned as arriving in Jacksonville, FL, with still no explanation of how it got there or where it's been for the last 11 days. When I returned to the location yesterday the employee denied any responsibility, and said the post office must not have scanned it when they picked it up. He insisted that this shop is not a post office, despite being listed as one on the USPS website, Yelp, Google Maps, and Apple Maps. He said they are only postal contractors. The USPS seems to have fixed their error very quickly after I called them today, this location is now listed as an "approved postal provider", but their name on the USPS website remains "CPU CHINA TOWN POST OFFICE". Shady.

This is a hole-in-the-wall authorized 3rd party USPS receiving station. They also provide money wiring services and sell calling cards. I did not see any self-serve mailboxes.

I came here to drop off an envelope on a Friday afternoon since they were the only USPS station open until 6pm near city hall. There were two experienced no-nonsense but friendly people behind the counter. They were able to same-day postmark my first-class envelope.

There is metered street parking during non-rush hours as well as paid underground parking that is shared with the hotel. The store is in the atrium so the easiest way to access is by foot through the main Hill St entrance.

My packages are nowhere to be found. They do not even show up as scanned!! I purchased the labels there and yet the system still shows up as if the items have not been dropped off yet. I have opened a case against this post office with USPS and consumer affairs to figure out where my items are. Please be aware.
